Regular meetings of the Board of Trustees are held on the first Friday of each month. Meetings start at 9 am in the City Council chambers located at 200 N. Walker in downtown Oklahoma City.

It is the policy of COTPA to ensure that communications with participants and members of the public with disabilities are as effective as communications with others.

Anyone with a disability who requires an accommodation, or modification of policies or procedures, or an auxiliary aid or service in order to participate in this meeting should contact EMBARK at 297-2484 or TDD 297-2602 as soon as possible but not later than 48 hours (not including weekends or holidays) before the scheduled meeting.

The Authority will give primary consideration to the choice of auxiliary aid or service requested by the individual with a disability.  If you need an alternate format of the agenda or any information provided at said meeting, please contact EMBARK at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled meeting.

Addressing the Board

Any one may address the Board during public hearings on any agenda item, but all comments must be relevant to the item.  Persons may also address the Board on individual concerns at the beginning of the agenda when the Chair announces "Citizens to be Heard."  Citizens to be Heard is not provided as a forum for publicly announced or declared candidates for City public office, and they will not be allowed to speak as Citizens to be Heard. Citizens will not be allowed to campaign on any political issue during the meeting.  Comments must concern services or policies under the prevue of the Board and its staff.  

 

To participate in a meeting, consider contacting COTPA at 405-297-1331 24 hours prior to the meeting, or arriving at least 15 minutes early to complete a "Request to be Heard" form located outside the Chambers.  If possible, please return this form to a staff member sitting in front of the room before the meeting starts. All speakers addressing the Board must state their legal name and their address.
