Summer 2024 service updates will become effective for OKC and Norman bus service on Sunday, July 28, and are intended to make service more frequent, reliable, and safe and result from operator and customer feedback.

Summer 2024 service updates will become effective for OKC and Norman bus service on Sunday, July 28, and are intended to make service more frequent, reliable, and safe and result from operator and customer feedback.

  • Updates include slight schedule changes to route 003 and 122
  • Other changes include the removal/addition of stops on routes 003, 008, 013, 111, 112.

Summer 2024 Service Updates

Route 003

  • Change: Earlier service: weekday inbound first trip at 5:43 a.m., outbound at 6:05 a.m. | weekend inbound first trip at 6:43 a.m. and outbound at 7:05 a.m.
    • Objective: Improve customer experience and satisfaction for essential early morning trips.
  • Change: Move the end of line from outbound bus stop #52 at Mercy Hospital to inbound bus stop #1609 at Mercy Heart Hospital
    • Objective: Provide safer and easier access to facilities
  • Change: Adjust outbound turn pattern on Northwest Expressway and Classen. Route 003 outbound will no longer pass by stop #4244.
    • Objective: Eliminate customer confusion on inbound and outbound boarding

Route 008

  • Change: Add new bus stop #4433 to the end of the line at Northwest Expressway @ Council.
    • Objective: Provide enhanced access to popular destinations
  • Change: Changing inbound pattern to add new bus stop #4434 at 63rd St. @ Northwest Expressway
    • Objectives: Provide enhanced access to popular destinations
  • Change: Changing inbound pattern to add new outbound bus stop #4437 at 63rd @ Ross Ave
    • Objectives: Provide enhanced access to popular destinations

Route 013

  • Change: Add new outbound bus stop #4432 on Western @ Reno
    • Objectives: Provide enhanced access to popular destinations

Route 111 (Norman)

  • Change: Add new inbound bus stop #4435 on Triad Village Dr @ 12
    • Objective: Provide enhanced access to popular destinations
  • Change: Add new inbound bus stop #4198 on Triad Village Dr
    • Objective: Provide enhanced access to popular destinations

Route 112 (Norman)

  • Change: Add new inbound bus stop #4439 at University/Apache
    • Objective: Provide enhanced access to popular destinations
  • Change: Add new outbound bus stop #4438 at University/Symmes
    • Objectives: Provide enhanced access to popular destinations

Route 122 (Norman)

  • Change: Remove the last inbound trip to Transit Center on Saturday
    • Objective: Mirror all other routes that do not end at the Transit Center.
