OKLAHOMA CITY – EMBARK is offering riders a safe, free transit alternative on New Year's Eve.
With the excitement of the new year coursing throughout the Greater Oklahoma City area, EMBARK is expecting more people on public transportation. Whether you will be downtown for Opening Night festivities, the Thunder game or celebrating around town EMBARK will provide safe, reliable options for navigating the streets of OKC.
“We want everyone to have a great time celebrating the new year, and leave the transportation to us,” said Jason Ferbrache, EMBARK director. “That’s why we’re offering free transit on New Year’s Eve. Let us help you get home to enjoy 2020.”
The OKC Streetcar will operate until 2 a.m. Buses will operate on its regular schedule. In addition, Zone 1 ADA Paratransit will also be available for free Dec. 31.
