EMBARK offers Oklahoma State Fair express bus route
Express bus route will run from downtown Oklahoma City to state fairgrounds Saturdays and Sundays
OKLAHOMA CITY – EMBARK will offer a special transportation service on weekends during the 2023 Oklahoma State Fair to connect downtown Oklahoma City with the state fairgrounds. Fairgoers staying downtown can easily park and ride from the Oklahoma City Convention Center or connect with the express route via bus or the OKC Streetcar at EMBARK’s Transit Center.
EMBARK’s express bus will run from the convention center to the state fairgrounds and back, with an intermediate stop at the downtown Transit Center. The service will run every hour from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. on the following days during the state fair:
The bus will depart from the southwest side of the Oklahoma City Convention Center, at the corner of S.W. 6th St. and Robinson Ave., and drop customers off near Gate 3 at the state fairgrounds, on General Pershing Blvd. The first bus will depart the convention center at 9:30 a.m. to arrive at the fairgrounds at 10 a.m., and the last bus will leave the fairgrounds at 11:30 p.m. to arrive back at the convention center at midnight.
The fare to ride the bus is $1.75 for a single trip or $4 for a 1-Day pass. Discounted rates are available for seniors 65 or older, and youth aged 18 and under ride free with an EMBARK Haul Pass. To ride the express bus, customers can purchase the $4 Adult 1-Day Universal pass, which is valid on both the bus and the OKC Streetcar. The pass can be purchased on the Token Transit App, at an OKC Streetcar kiosk, or at the EMBARK Transit Center.
Paid parking is available at the Convention Center Parking Garage and the Scissortail Park surface lot for $10 per day.
EMBARK’s Route 009 and Route 038 serve the state fairgrounds regularly during weekdays.
