Free Fare Days
In an effort to promote use of public transportation over cars to explore Oklahoma City shopping, entertainment venues and events, and to get out and vote.
Fixed-Route buses, OKC Streetcar, RAPID, Zone 1 ADA Paratransit will be free to ride on these listed dates:
- 2026
- January 1 – New Year’s Day
- January 19 – Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
- February 4 – Rosa Parks Day
- February 10 – Special Elections*
- March 3 – Special Elections*
- April 7 – General Elections/Special Elections*
- April 22 – Earth Day
- May 15 – Third Friday Free
- May 25 – Memorial Day
- June 16 – Special Elections*
- June 19 – Juneteenth/Third Friday Free
Note: Starting January 5, riders can enjoy FREE OKC Streetcar service thru July 5. Learn more about this promotion here.

Does EMBARK charge fares during snow route service? Yes. However, if advised by the City of Oklahoma City, EMBARK fixed-route buses will implement free rides to the city’s six overnight shelters during freezing temperatures
