About Us

EMBARK serves the City of Norman with six scheduled fixed-route bus routes and ADA paratransit services.

About Us

Through a partnership with the City of Norman, EMBARK manages the public transportation in Norman.

Schedule: EMBARK Norman operates from 7 AM to 10 PM, Monday - Friday and 10 AM to 7 PM on Saturdays. EMBARK Norman does not operate on Sundays or on the following holidays:

  • New Year's Day
  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving
  • Christmas

Fare: EMBARK Norman is currently fare-free thanks to the City of Norman. A fare is required when using Oklahoma City routes and services (including Norman Express Commuter Route - see map).


Routes: To avoid duplicate route numbers with other EMBARK routes, Norman route numbers are now listed in the hundreds. Find the EMBARK Norman Ride Guide here or start planning your trip here.


Transit Center: The new Norman Transit Center located at 320 E Comanche St. has replaced the Brooks St. Transfer Station as the transfer hub for City of Norman operated bus routes. The Norman Transit Center is an indoor facility with the following amenities:

  • ADA Compliant Site Circulation
  • Benches
  • Shelters
  • Trash Cans

INTERIOR:

  • Public and Staff Restrooms
  • Public Indoor Waiting Area
  • Public Water Fountain (With Bottle Fill Option)
  • Public Vending Machines
  • Staff Breakroom/Workspace
