Winter Weather Detours
Snow and ice can impact EMBARK service. A decision to activate winter weather detours can be made at any time, but EMBARK will keep riders updated on detours and changes as quickly as possible.
Winter Weather Detours occur when it is unsafe for transit vehicles to follow their regular routes.
- OKC has two levels of predetermined detours: Level 1 and Level 2 Winter Weather Detours.
- Norman also has standard Winter Weather Detours

- Information on closures of EMBARK’s senior transportation programs will be available by 6:30 a.m. at 405-297-2583. Participants of other EMBARK Mobility Management Programs should contact their assigned Mobility Coordinator directly to discuss closures and cancellations.
